SCOTUS nomination

Well this is news that I have been dreading since the GOP already stole one seat on the  current SCOTUS bench.

Of course Mitch McConnell wants to get a speedy vote on this. He knows that the country is pissed at his slimy thieving ass.

We are seeing that federal court nominees are not even wanting to answer questions about landmark cases. They are getting away with it, why? because the GOP does not care about justice and constitutionality, just drive the dollars in the correct direction.

We know that the GOP is pushing for the youngest judges that it can get, regardless of qualifications.

Regardless of the damages, Thank you Justice Kennedy for all of the years that you have given to the bench.

GOP Hypocrisy

Time and time again we hear the GOP preach that they want a smaller government and fiscal responsibility.

I would love to see either of those tenets to be true.

I just have not seen it yet. Each GOP administration has expanded the government. We are still early in Cheeto Von Tweeto’s administration. Since he seems to be too mentally challenged to fill out his appointment list, he may achieve this before his impeachment.Time will tell if he is destined to choke on some prison cock, but that may be a debate on another day.

Fiscal responsibility… not from this administration. All of those people who felt that a failed reality show host was a great idea. fuck the hell off. You helped screw over a few generations. It is going to take some time to repair the damages on this tax cut bill. We know that T-Rump will sign it, thinking that it is amazing. well it is kind of amazing. amazing that millions of people were so stupid that they set the stage for this shit show.

We learned from Reagan that his trickle down theory does not work. Later on, we watched in horror as W game away billions in tax rebates. Yes, I cashed mine too. We knew that the country was not in a position for that tax package.

Is the GOP so stricken with tunnel vision that it cannot see what must be done? If you want to cut taxes, great find a way to pay for it. What are you going to cut? Congress (both sides of the aisle) are very happy to raise their pay, benefits, pensions, protections and exclusions. That is the easy stuff for them.  The hard part seems to be doing things responsibly, like oh I don’t know… pay back all of the money that they and their predecessors have stolen form social security over the years? How about they find some pork to trim away?

Sadly this is not the modern GOP way. The new way is to fool the masses in thinking that you have a fucking clue as to what to do, then protect the wealthy.

Want the positive? Here it is, most of the damage is done after the next term is over. So T-Rump will be out of office no matter what. If we the people are enjoying any luck, the next congress or two will undo this fuqtard’s actions. No I am not wanting him to be erased from history. We need to never make this kind of mistake again.

North Korea begs for decimation

Isn’t it interesting that the North Koreans are trying to claim that T-Rump declared war? I am guessing that the supreme leader does not allow for education, let alone the subject of history.

It was after all the North Koreans that declared war by invading South Korea on June 25th, 1950.

That painful war, dragged on until July 27th, 1950 when they signed an armistice, not a peace treaty, but an armistice bringing an end to the fighting.

On at least six occasions, the North Koreans had backed out of the armistice. Obviously I do not want to see nuclear arms in play. Even in the “good guys’” hands, they are a terrible idea. But when a psychopath controls them (yes, in this case, both sides) it is a scary situation.

I am not normally a hawk, but it may be time to finish this one. The current regime appears to be hell bent to see some action. I am not saying that T-Rump is not without fault. The Hyper-Tweeting Orangutan has been bickering with Kim Jong Un like a school kid. If it were just saber rattling, we could just move on as long as the war does not heat back up. The events that led me to believe that we should bring this chapter to a decisive conclusion is that Kim Fatty the Third keeps escalating his testing of weapons that put millions/billions at risk.

It is time for us to make Kim yell out: 이런 벙커 버스터는 어디서 나온거야? (Holy shit, where did all of the bunker busters come from?)


Ferguson, yes I have views too

So the world has been watching to see where this went.

Before I begin, I was not there, nor was I in the grand jury, so I know only what the public knows.

I am in a different camp than Wil Wheaton, and others. I am probably in the minority of Anonymous, as the vocal side is stomping their feet that this was such a travesty.

I do not know what factors told the officer that deadly force was the best reaction.  Perhaps he SHOULD have used a non-lethal.

Am I racist? no, will I be called racist, could be.

We knew that the chance was high that there was going to be trouble either way tonight.  How many riots or destruction has occurred after winning a pro ball game or hockey game? People get overly excited and lose their common sense.

The bottom line is that the grand jury did not see enough to compel ANY of them to put forth charges. Not ONE!

We know from the strong arm robbery shortly before his death, that he was not in his right mind. He may have been kind and gentle normally, but not that day.

Sorry, this was blown way out of proportion, and most of us knew it in August. So much money and time spent. I will not call it it a waste, because our society seemed to feel the need for it to be intense. So be it.

We also knew in August that the masses were no going to accept the outcome.

Now it will go to a civil case where you don’t really have to prove a case. At least not anywhere near as conclusively.

God help those who have been directly impacted; family, friends, the community, even the police…

Interesting Reading for the Fourth of July

Do you know how many times God is mentioned in the Declaration of Independence? Once.

Just so nobody thinks that I am taking it out of context:

Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God, that is much more than just God. That is is the equivilent to god, leaving all faiths open. IN fact Nature’s God coule be interpreted to be much closer to Pagans than Chistians. Funny thing isn’t it?


How many times does God appear in the Constitution? Zero.
How about the Bill of Rights, is he there? Nope.
How many times does God show up in the Articles of Confederation? Zero.

For a nation that some feel was founded on God, the supporting documents just aren’t there.

Now a country founded on the belief that ALL should be able to practice the religion of their choosing, that is all over the place. The First Amendment does a good job if putting that out there for us.

Amnesty vs Path to Citizenship – We Cannot Afford Either

We have seen the fight between the politicians and the citizenry over the issue of illegals.

I am not going to with some wimp assed semantecs over illegal vs undocumented alien. Other than to call them what they are; aliens who are here illegally, hence the phrase.

So we have an estimated 11 million illegal aliens in the country.

I have said it before and I will say it again, I do not care what country they come from. I am not a racist… I just want them to arrive legally.

Before you even start with the whole stupid line of remarks about how white people were the first illegals let’s get this out of the way too.

Even the “Native Americans” (hereafter referred to as Indians (that is another topic)) came here from another continent.

There were no immigration laws until there was a government who saw need for them.

When the economy is strong, we tend to take a more lazaire faire attitude. If it isn’t posing us a direct financial impact we let it slide.

With our household finances, when times get tight we have to find ways to save (those who are smarter don’t feed the pig to begin with) money wherever we can.

Now the government on the other hand when faced with this doesn’t seem to notice the needs changing. They just keep spending and giving stuff away. Money that is not THEIRS to give. It is ours for them to look after. We have entrusted it to them.

11 millions people inside the country illegally; some just over stayed their visas, others came in illegally to begin with.

Our government has chosen to bring in people for high tech jobs with claims that we don;t have viable candidates locally. This year they are giving more visas than their are jobs for. Shit we even have high tech visas for ENTRY LEVEL positions… wait what?!? for every level? Isn’t the definition of entry level a position that a beginner can do?  Are they expecting us to believe that we don’t have some high school grads that cannot fill those jobs? Does’;t corporate America have a responsibility to have a pathway to employment? (well the phrase works for illegals right?) Why should business think that they can just decide that they hire experts only for every role. Sure you want experts… train them.

Unemployment has been bad, and devastating in the teen markets. They don’t need more hurdles thrown in their way.

Corporate America is wanting the moon, but only wanting to pay for a model rocket, or perhaps a stomp rocket. Corporate America feel that they should set the job requirements for college degrees for (seemingly) an job within their organizations. I am not knocking upper education, as it is a wonderful thing, but is it really required? Don’t you think that life education can count for something? I have over 30 certifications from Microsoft (and others) but they do not equal a college degree to an employer. can a brand new college graduate do all that I can? Sure after they have a long time in the field like I have. My experience truly includes blood, sweat and tears.

So since corporate America wants to push for the education, do they bolster the student loans? How about push for lower tuition and books? no, no no… that would make too much sense. They choose to grant in state tuition for criminals who slipped into this county in a variety of ways.  Now some kids, were dragged along as baggage… As a dear friend said (as best as I remember) if a dad steam a car and gives it to their teenager, does the teenager get to keep it? NO! It is still a stolen car.

Where else are illegals costing us?

Medical costs are debatable, but I think that if you are not supposed to be here, then we should not have to pay. If my license to drive has been suspended and I drive anyway, resulting in an my being rear ended who is at fault? Me, for being on the road in the first place.  The same principle applies doesn’t it?,

Aren’t we spending too much on translation services?

With all of these extra costs, they want to give green cards to everyone here that didn’t come the right way.

That just spits in the faces of all of those who did do the right thing in their path to become Americans.

We have a solid pathway to citizenship already.

If a person has a green card, I am quite happy to help with getting through the test, improving language skills, etc..

Would another amnesty help? Sure, those that can start working above the table, could start working towards a retirement. Politicians who were able to stand there and say that they helped the illegals get legal… sure they would be better off as long as the newly legal  made it worth their wile to cover the loss of those who opposed their actions.  Would farmers prosper? they would have to start doing things legally themselves.  They already should be… but we know the truth.

We cannot harbor criminals.

We cannot afford it

We cannot keep doing this.

We cannot.

Dog the Bounty Hunter has sworn to bring Snowden back to American, though what ever illegal means he can find.

And just who has offered a billion dollar reward for his return? The government isn’t allowed to hire mercenaries or brake international law in pursuit of the accused, so who is backing this?

Counter Protest in Washington State

Good morning all!

Tomorrow I will be participating in a counter protest against Senate Bill S. 744. Since I cannot make it to Seattle, I will be part of the presence in Vancouver at Officer’s Row.

States and Nullification of Enforcement of Federal Laws

Does anyone else see this trend of states getting fed up with the federal government and enacting legislation (or coming close to anyway) that nullifies federal laws?

I find it interesting but a little unnerving.

Does this bring us closer to my concerns of civil unrest or rebellion?

  • More than a dozen state may be nullifying Obama Care
  • Missouri – The governor has a bill to consider nullification of federal gun laws
  • Kansas (and others)- passed a law that guns made and owned in Kansas were exempt from federal firearms laws
  • Washington and Colorado legalized recreational marijuana possession and use.
  • Washington legalizes gay marriage
  • Pennsylvania –  may be nullifying federal bans on some weapons and ammunition
  • or even the opposite, states try to help the feds by trying to enforce voting or immigration law and the feds can’t permit THAT.

I am sure that there are other examples.

So if states won’t enforce the federal laws, then I guess the feds will have to ramp up their staffing to be able to enforce their own laws.. What a concept.

At some point, the federal government went feral and now the states have decided that they need to take back some of their domain.

Do we see an end to this? What other areas will states start to take back?

How will the feds compensate for their losses in power?
The federal government need to constrict its size and power.

Will they have a flippin’ temper tantrum and over-react?
